The game starts early today so here's an early preview.
The Penguins have nothing to reproach to themselves. They're playing well. There's only one minor detail to fix: the defensemen have to move the puck out of their zone faster. There were a lot of instances in Game 1 where the Rangers' forecheck was too much to bear for the Pens' D. So, either move the puck out of the zone and build from there or have a forward in support for the transition.
If the Rangers take an early lead again, they better not sit on it. Keep up the pressure, stay focused and disciplined. Also, they should stop overcommitting themselves on Crosby. In Game 1, almost every time Sidney had the puck, there were four Rangers on him. Four. Meaning that there was only one player left for four Penguins. What usually happened in those situations was that the slot was wide open for the Pens and most of the time, there was one Penguins forwards in alone on Lundqvist. The Blueshirts should watch Crosby but at the same time, they have to protect their goalie, he can't bail them out if he's always alone.
