Ann 2Game 45 & 46 Review: Canadiens Lose Two On The Road (Highlights Videos Included)

I was unable to catch both games this week since I had class and the Internet signal wasn't strong enough in my classroom. But from watching the highlights and reading the newspapers, I didn't miss much. With the All-Star break coming up, the Montreal Canadiens took their vacation early in the week, letting the Atlanta Thrashers cruise by them with a 4-2 win before the New Jersey Devils handed them a 5-2 loss 24 hours later.
The result of both games was caused by too many players taking the night off and not responding to their opponents' physical play. Of course, Carey Price's return from a long absence didn't help much since he was a bit rusty. It's unfortunate that after finding a nice rhythm, the Canadiens have once again returned to their passionless play of November. Injured players are slowly reintegrating the squad, and we hope that it will be for the club's best. The Habs are also in need of serious shooting practices.
