2008 NHL Playoffs - Round 2: Montreal Canadiens vs. Philadelphia Flyers Game 1 Preview
April 24th 2008 20:40
Tonight, the Habs will face the Flyers for the fifth time this season at the Bell Centre. Montreal swept Philly 4 – 0 during the regular season but, as they say, the playoffs are a different playground.
The Flyers are coming to Montreal in a state of exhaustion. They're banged up, ragged, and tired after a gruesome series against the Capitals. After containing Ovechkin as best as they could, Philadelphia's defensemen must now take care Montreal's Russians, namely Kovalev and the Kostitsyn brothers. With the Habs' grinders line in support, the Flyers will have their hands full.
In the Canadiens' camp, one can only hope that they learned a lesson after the first round. Every shift, every period, and every game matters. The defense will have to watch Philly's forwards trying to crash Price's net. Komisarek, Harmlik, and Bouillon will need to be at their best physically. Once again, Kovalev will play alongside Koivu and Christopher Higgins. Tomas Plekanec will center the K brothers. Right now, the Habs have the edge for the first game. However, they have the tendency of coming out flat after an important win. We'll see how they react for this game.
After much questionning, Carbo confirmed that he will not be wearing the tie tonight. He's saving it for later.

I do love your little log or picture tag, whatever they are called, quite striking.
Play on, you obviously know what you are doing.
