2008 NHL Playoffs - Round 1: Washington Capitals vs. Philadelphia Flyers Game 2 Preview
April 13th 2008 16:31
It ain't over 'til it's over.
That's what both coaches will tell their team before the second game of this physical series.
Bruce Boudreau's gameplan is clear. Have his team play with the same intensity as they did two days ago while also tightening the defense. The Caps will have to give special attention to Daniel Brière. I'm no hockey specialist but I would put Ovechkin's line against Brière's and go strength against strength. If Huet starts, he has to refrain from going down too early and avoid hazardous exits out of his crease.
John Stevens will tell his team to play the same way they started the last game. They have to keep their focus for the whole sixty minutes and prevent Ovechkin and Lidstrom from turning the tide of the game. The Flyers will also mass themselves in front of Huet's net as he sees nothing when there's more than two bodies in front of him.
