2008 NHL Playoffs - Round 1: Pittsburg Penguins vs. Ottawa Senators Game 3 Preview
April 14th 2008 23:25
As I said in my Game 2 Review, the Sens have something to build on. They came back from a three goal deficit and Martin Gerber was solid. Now, all the Sens have to do is not to take any dumb penalties like Martin Lapointe did in the final minutes of last game. The Senators are now back home. They will draw support from their 7th man and hope that it carries them to a win. The best way to start is to get the first goal. With Alfredsson back in the lineup, the Sens' powerplay will hopefully come back to life.
The Penguins have the chance to potentially take the series out of Ottawa's reach. All they need is a carbon copy performance of the last game minus the defensive lapses.
