2008 NHL Playoffs - Round 1: Montreal Canadiens vs. Boston Bruins Game 5 Preview
April 17th 2008 20:23
It's crunch time.
Tonight, the Canadiens has the chance to put away the Bruins in the fifth game of the series which will be played in MTL's phone booth (Bell Centre). The Habs better be ready because Boston will play this game like it was the seventh match of the Stanley Cup finals.
Boston's gameplan is simple. Same intensity, same composure in defense, and more shots to Carey Price's net. The Bruins are hoping that they will be able to cash in on any shot rebound given by Price. There is, however, a question mark for the defense. Veteran Aaron Ward injured his knee during the last game and is a game-time decision; rumor is that captain Zdeno Chara will be playing injured.
Over to Montreal's side, Mark Streit is out with a hip injury. Michael Ryder, an healthy scratch for the last game, will take his place. Ryan O'Byrne will play his second playoff game, his first at the Bell. Brisebois and Sergei Kostitsyn will be the logical choices to take Streit's spot on the PP. The crowd will be loud, the players will be pumped. This is gonna be one hell of a hockey match.
